Principal's Message

Welcome Back Oakview Community!

      I am so excited to start the new school year on Thursday, August 13th at 8:10 a.m.! I hope you had a wonderful summer and are energized for the BEST year ever!

     Before joining Oakview Community, I was VP/Principal at Kingswood Elementary, and then Principal of Del Paso Manor. I have experience teaching pre-school, primary, sixth grade at the middle school level, instructional coaching grades 6-12, and high school administration. I feel like I hit the lottery now that I am at Oakview! I am also a huge Denver Broncos fan...please don't hold that against me!

      I look forward to visiting classrooms each day and getting to know your child as a learner, in addition to getting to know your child's special and unique talents. We want to provide every student with a high quality instructional program that assists him/her reach or exceed his/her personal goals. We also recognize the importance of educating the whole child. Oakview Community will be offering new & exciting before and after school programs to encourage children to explore new and existing interests.

     A strong partnership between home and school is essential to your child's success and necessary for a positive educational journey. We value parents as equal partners and recognize you are the expert of your child. Together, we will provide the foundation of a memorable elementary experience that will set the stage for lifelong learning. Look for opportunities to get involved and make Oakview Community the BEST elementary school in the district!
